Do I get digital photos or prints? How many photos will I get and how long does it take to get them?

Unlike photo studios or a lot of other photographers, I always give full resolution digital images with no watermark on them so you can have them printed wherever, whenever you like! I only provide prints and photo books with wedding packages A, B, & C. 

I usually try and get pictures back to people in within 14 days or less. It depends on how much of a backlog I have, if I get really busy then it will take longer, if I don't have anything in queue then it might only take a couple days. Weddings take longer, it depends on number of hours of coverage, but will be delivered in within 30 days or less. When doing the no editing option, you get the photos right after we're done with the session. 

Usually 50-80 photos delivered to you per 1 hour of shooting time outdoors. Usually 30-60 photos per 1 hour when shooting indoors using flash. These are general guidelines that applies to most sessions, but sometimes its less, sometimes its more. 

Edited photos are delivered at full resolution via DropBox which simply is sent to you as a link to download the images. You can also easily share them with friends, family, and business associates. The photos will be there forever so you never have to worry about losing them!

What parts of Minneapolis do you provide service to? Do you charge extra for travel expenses?

  • I will go up to 50 miles from downtown Minneapolis. Up to 10 miles from downtown Minneapolis is free. 
  • Anything over 10 miles is charged .50 cents per mile (round trip). So if you pick a location 26 miles from Minneapolis, it would be a $26 travel fee. There is an extended range with no travel fee for each wedding package. If it's over 15 miles from downtown Minneapolis the travel fee is due in advance. Not applicable if your wedding package covers the travel fee. 

Do you require a deposit for weddings and events? How about non-events?

  • Yes, deposits are required for any event (something that has to be a specific date and time like a wedding or birthday party). I take a 50% deposit to book me, remaining 50% due the day of the event. Deposits are non-refundable, only exception is if I am unable to make it due to an unforeseen emergency. You can not cancel and receive a refund as I will have turned down other potential business to hold that time and date for you. ​ 

  • For a non event, a $20 deposit paid via Google Pay, Venmo, or Cash App is required to schedule any session if you are a new client. 

What form of payments do you accept?

  • Cash, checks, and credit/debit cards via primarily Google Pay, Venmo, or Cash App. 
  • Only cash is accepted when you are not buying editing and receive all images immediately.

What kind of photos do you shoot?

Do you shoot rain or shine, what about last minute cancellations?

I will shoot even it's drizzling rain or snow flurries. If the precipitation is so severe that it would damage my equipment we will reschedule. I generally check weather a couple hours before since it can always change last minute. You can check the forecast but don't look for only sunny days, partly cloudy days are really good days to shoot on. Also keep in mind the sunrise and sunset times for your selected day. Be advised for events, the deposit is non-refundable so please prepare for an indoor alternative in case your event has bad weather.

What's your refund policy?

The only time I offer a refund is if:

1. You're a new client and pay the $20 deposit and cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled session. If you reschedule your first session, you can no longer get a refund of the $20, but can reschedule a max of two times. 

2. For events, if I am unable to attend because of an unforeseen emergency (car accident and both my legs are broken, I get the coronavirus, etc) on my end, the 50% deposit would be refunded. If you have an emergency on your end, I am willing to reschedule, if I have availability on the new date & time but there wouldn't be a refund. 

There are no other circumstances where a refund is offered.
